Scope and operator

This Privacy Policy explains how Infinitude Enterprises (“Infinitude Enterprises,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you visit or interact with DIY Simplified at diysimplified.com and any related pages that link to this policy (collectively, the “Site”). Infinitude Enterprises is the operator and data controller for the Site.

By using the Site, you acknowledge the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Site.

02

Information we collect

Information you provide

We may collect information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, the contents of messages or feedback you send, and any other information you include when you contact us, subscribe to an email list, participate in a survey or promotion, or otherwise communicate with the Site.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, we and service providers acting on our behalf may automatically collect technical and usage information. This may include your Internet Protocol address, browser and device type, operating system, referring and exit pages, pages viewed, approximate location derived from an IP address, dates and times of access, links clicked, and general interaction data.

We do not intentionally request sensitive personal information through the Site. Please do not send government identification numbers, financial account credentials, health records, or other highly sensitive information by email or through ordinary Site communications.

03

Cookies and analytics

The Site may use cookies, local storage, pixels, tags, scripts, and similar technologies to operate properly, remember preferences, understand traffic, measure content performance, prevent abuse, and improve the visitor experience. Some of these technologies may be set by third-party services.

Analytics services may process technical and usage data to help us understand matters such as which pages are visited, how visitors arrive at the Site, and how the Site performs. Depending on your device and jurisdiction, you may be able to limit cookies through browser settings, consent controls displayed on the Site, or privacy features provided by your device. Blocking certain technologies may affect Site functionality.

Your browser may offer a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is not a uniform industry response to that signal, the Site may not respond to it in every circumstance. We will honor legally required browser-based opt-out signals where applicable to our practices.

04

How we use information

We may use information collected through the Site to:

  • Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Site and its content;
  • Respond to questions, feedback, corrections, and other communications;
  • Understand audience interests and evaluate Site traffic and performance;
  • Send newsletters or other communications when you have requested them, subject to any required consent;
  • Personalize or measure content, advertising, or affiliate-link performance where permitted;
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent security incidents, misuse, fraud, or unlawful activity;
  • Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights, users, and the public; and
  • Carry out another purpose disclosed when information is collected or with your consent.
05

How information may be disclosed

We may disclose information to vendors and service providers that support hosting, security, analytics, email delivery, advertising, content distribution, customer support, and other Site operations. They may process information only as permitted by their agreements with us and applicable law.

We may also disclose information when we reasonably believe it is necessary to comply with law or legal process; respond to lawful requests; protect the safety, rights, or property of Infinitude Enterprises, our visitors, or others; investigate misuse; or enforce applicable terms.

Information may be transferred as part of an actual or proposed merger, financing, sale, reorganization, acquisition, bankruptcy, or other change involving all or part of our business or assets. We may disclose information with your direction or consent, and we may share aggregated or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify you.

06

Third-party services, ads, and affiliate links

The Site may contain links to websites, products, social platforms, advertisements, embedded media, or other services operated by third parties. Those parties may collect information directly from you under their own privacy policies. We do not control and are not responsible for their privacy or security practices.

Some links may be affiliate links. If you follow an affiliate link and complete a qualifying transaction, Infinitude Enterprises may receive a commission. Affiliate networks and merchants may use cookies or similar technologies to attribute referrals, prevent fraud, and measure transactions.

If the Site displays interest-based advertising, advertising partners may collect or receive information from your browser or device to select, deliver, and measure ads as permitted by law and any consent choices presented to you.

07

Data retention and security

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including providing the Site, maintaining appropriate business and tax records, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, meeting legal obligations, and protecting against abuse. Retention periods vary based on the type of information, how it is used, and applicable requirements.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Email is not a secure channel for sensitive information.

08

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of certain personal information; to object to or restrict certain processing; to withdraw consent; and to appeal a decision about a privacy request. You may also have a right to opt out of certain targeted advertising, sharing, or sales as those terms are defined by applicable law.

To make a request, email hello@diysimplified.com with the subject line “Privacy Request” and describe the request and the jurisdiction in which you reside. We may need to verify your identity before acting. If an authorized agent submits a request, we may require proof of authority and direct verification with the individual.

You may unsubscribe from promotional email by using the unsubscribe link in the message or by contacting us. We may still send non-promotional communications, such as responses to messages or notices about the Site.
